Pura Vida is a saying used by locals in my adopted home of Costa Rica that means ‘pure life’. It was the pura vida natural lifestyle that inspired me to create simple, super-soft, eco-friendly baby carriers that give you the freedom and comfort to wear your baby anywhere and everywhere. Nalakai is all about families, named after my two children, Kai and Nala. I am so passionate about babywearing, and I hope you will be too!

When I got pregnant with my fifth, I was really concerned I would struggle maintaining my business from home. This is THE most needed baby item- and I’ve had a lot with five babies! My baby will be fussing and then I put her in this and she instantly calms down. She always falls asleep when I put her in and she STAYS asleep. It’s easy to use, super comfortable, and so easy for me to do anything around the house with it on.
Absolutely love this sling! it's so easy to put on. Baby feels super secure. He's so happy and content in it. I can breastfeed so easily in this sling too.
I absolutely love this sling and I wear it daily. My baby is pretty colicky and can always be calmed when I wear her in this sling. I’m able to do work around the house, eat, socialize etc. and she just sleeps like a log or stares out at the works happily.
I have been using this sling with baby #3 and continue to love it! I get so many compliments about how beautiful it is, but my favorite thing is how easy it is to use. And the pocket is a great spot to stash a burp cloth and my phone!
I have a lillebaby ring sling, lillebaby 6 in 1, Tula carrier, Kelty, ergo, and a water ring sling. I can tell you this is my favorite! It is light weight and easy to pack into any diaper bag. I LOVE the feel of it. I want ALL the colors! I have three kids and need to be able to be hands free. This just works amazingly!
Though it may seem the world tries to tell you differently, the truth is no playbook exists containing the single best way to parent.
Do we need to say it louder for our friends in the back?
If someone tells you that you are not parenting the right way, you need to remove yourself from that person’s sphere of influence and join a group of supportive moms who know better.
