The locals in our adopted home of Costa Rica have a saying, Pura Vida. This means Pure Life. I have always been inspired by the simple, natural way of life here.
At Nalakai, we put YOU first. I absolutely love connecting with and serving mothers and their families. I am committed to bring you the best quality, natural products to help you feel amazing and to help you bond with your babies.
I know that you care about the environment, and so do we. Every Nalakai ring sling and Nalakai Naturals product is eco-friendly and made without harsh chemicals. All of our skincare products are safe to use when pregnant and/or nursing and our packaging is sustainable, recyclable and eco-friendly.
When I started this brand, I knew I wanted to do things differently. Nalakai has never been about the bottom line. I want to share new ideas with mothers and families, to let you know that there are ways to purchase and to parent that care for the environment and that are gentle and compassionate.
I want every mother to feel beautiful, comfortable and represented. We have a longer length line of ring slings for taller women, babywearing dads and gorgeous mamas with curves. We believe in including everyone. We never use professional models in our photo shoots. We use only mothers with their own babies and we absolutely love featuring photos of our customers from all around the world. We include women and babies of many different sizes and ethnic backgrounds. Nalakai is for everyone.
